Corbin City Baptist Church has an exciting women’s group.
Starting March 13th at 6:30pm we will begin a 7 week Bible study “Putting Feet to Our Faith”.
What does it mean to be a mature Christian? Many of us think it means someone who knows a great deal of Bible facts. But Paul tells us that we should be mature so that we are “equipped for every good work” When Paul talks about completion and maturity, he points to actions, to deeds, to “every good work.”
What are good works? How do we mature as Christians? This study will answer those questions and more as we study, from Scripture, growing in grace, Christian maturity and some practical steps we, as women of Christ, can take to achieve maturity and live a meaningful life for God, regardless of our age!
The goal of the Yahweh Sisterhood is to reach women both inside and outside of our church and to bring women together in a way that blesses each one and draws us into a deep relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We share in each others joy and laughter, sorrow and tears…our greatest desire always being to give God the glory.
Several times per year, our women meet Bible study series, prayer and fellowship. We also have an annual one day retreat, Spring luncheon, Christmas celebration and other special events.
