The Book of Romans

Paul’s letter to the church in Rome came at a time when they needed to understand the foundations and the complexities of their faith.  Within its pages, Paul outlines on of the simplest explanations of the gospel found in Scripture.  Then, he puts his brilliant mind to task of exploring some of the most complex doctrines of the Christian faith and how the understanding of those doctrines is the key to living a life of hope now and joy for the eternity that awaits those who know Christ as their Lord and Savior

This collection of 150 poetic songs, written by King David and others, provides a timeless guide for navigating life’s highs and lows. One of its greatest gifts is the raw honesty it models—psalms of praise, lament, and thanksgiving reflect the full spectrum of human emotion. Thursday Evenings 6:30 pm Bible Study:  1 Samuel

You're invited to join us for an exciting Bible study in the book of 1 Samuel at Corbin City Baptist Church

When: Thursday nights, starting at 6:30 PM
Where: Corbin City Baptist Church

This powerful Old Testament narrative is a captivating account of Israel's transition from the era of judges to a monarchy, centered on three pivotal figures: the faithful prophet Samuel, the tragic first king Saul, and the humble, anointed shepherd-boy-turned-king David.

Studying 1 Samuel is incredibly valuable—it reveals profound truths about God's sovereignty over history and human leaders, the importance of obedience to God (far above mere religious acts), and how the Lord looks at the heart rather than outward appearances. We see God's faithfulness in exalting the humble, opposing the proud, and guiding events toward His ultimate plan, including the promise of a coming King in the line of David. These timeless lessons challenge us in our own leadership, faith, and trust in God's providential care today.

1 Samuel challenges us to examine our own hearts and offers timeless lessons on trusting God's timing in a world of uncertainty.

Whether you're new to Bible study or have been digging into Scripture for years, this is a great opportunity to grow together in God's Word.
